Khatoon

Khatoon is the symbol of a Persian woman. A black eyed women with a kind of brightness in her face!
I drew and painted this picture for a friend and now she has received it.
I also had a related photo in my older blog that you can see by clicking here.

The khatoon is beautiful and delicate. A wonderful picture and gift you made, Sarah.
Your earlier tile is also so nice.

May I say? I have received it and it is beautifully hand-painted on elegant paper, with a glossy surface added for protection of the paint. I'm honored by your gift, Sarah. And I'm excited now to come up with something to send to you from Pasadena!

Thank you Dina and Ann!

Thank you Petrea! I'm honored too that you liked it! I wish that I could send one to Dina but I know it will make problem with both of us. I even can not add her on my facebook, it's so sad for me though she is always in my herat, I know you fully understand it Dina :(

One thing I learn from meeting people on the internet every day that is that people do not always represent their governments, and vice versa. We are individuals, and I'm glad we can talk to each other this way.

I didn't know you couldn't be FB friends. That's too bad.

I am lucky, aren't I--to know such artistic people as Sarah and Shell. And I'm so pleased you two have "met."
